Montpelier, VT- Vermont Democratic Party Chair Jake Perkinson issued the following statement in honor of Veterans Day:
“On this day, Veterans Day, we celebrate the extraordinary sacrifice made by the men and women who have served in the United States military. We are deeply grateful for the Vermonters who have made this commitment to serve. We know that the best way to honor their sacrifice is to bring our troops home swiftly. On this Veterans Day, we are proud and thankful that President Obama will honor the service of Vermont veterans and their peers around the country by bringing our troops home.”
