Jesse Bragg, Executive Director

Jesse Bragg is a New England native and a graduate of the University of Vermont. In 2008, Bragg served as a Regional Field Director for the Vermont Democratic Party’s Coordinated Campaign which worked to get Democrats elected up and down the ballot. After the 2008 general Election, Bragg served as the Field Director for Dan Smith, a candidate for Mayor of Burlington. Jesse also spent a short time organizing for the Human Rights Campaign in New Hampshire. Before the 2010 elections, Jesse was the Vermont State Director for Organizing for America (OFA). OFA worked nationally to support President Obama's agenda, with a particular emphasis on Health Reform. During the 2010 election cycle Jesse was the Vermont Democratic Party's Statewide Field Director. He then came on with the Party as the Political Director before taking over as Executive Director.
Alicia D'Alessandro, Communications Director

Alicia most recently served as communications director for Ed Potosnak for Congress in New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District. During the campaign, she liaised with print, television, and new media journalists, served as campaign speechwriter, prepared the candidate for two televised debates, and managed the candidate's social media accounts. She also advised the candidate on policy including women's health, abortion rights, and civil and LGBT rights. Prior to joining Potosnak’s campaign, Alicia spent three years working at Public Strategies Washington, a government relations and communications consulting firm, where she gained policy knowledge and communications experience while working with PSW partners and clients on healthcare, trade, small business, and education issues. D’Alessandro began her career in politics working on Capitol Hill for Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) and Congressman Lane Evans (D-IL). She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and American studies from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree in American Government from the Johns Hopkins University. Alicia’s master thesis focused upon the use of the internet and social media in the 2008 presidential election to engage youth voters and its implications for future elections.
Fauna Shaw, Finance Director

Fauna Shaw has been fundraising on behalf of nonprofits, higher education and political campaigns for over 5 years. She most recently worked on Congressman Jim McGovern's (D-MA) successful re-election campaign. Born and raised in Oklahoma, Fauna has since become a proud New England transplant. She received her BA at Clark University in Worcester, MA in Political Science and French and her Masters in Community Development and Planning. She enjoys traveling, cooking and learning languages.
