Senator Robert A. Starr of Troy, Orleans County, Democrat, was born in Hartford, Connecticut, on December 17, 1942, and became a resident of his present town on June 3, 1944. He is married to the former Anita Cadieux, and they have one son. Occupation: president, Starr’s United, Inc., d/b/a Starr’s Transportation. He was educated in elementary schools in North Troy, Vermont; North Troy High School; and Vermont Technical College, Randolph, Vermont (associate degree in agriculture).
