WE'RE HIRING!

Intern

The Vermont Democratic Party (VDP) is seeking motivated, reliable, and adaptable interns to support party operations during a busy organizing and electoral cycle. This is a hands-on, fast-paced internship designed for individuals who want broad exposure to political organizing, campaigns, and party infrastructure and who are ready to jump in wherever help is needed.

This role is best suited for someone who is curious, flexible, and eager to learn by doing. Interns will work closely with VDP staff and may support organizing, communications, data, events, and administrative projects as priorities shift.

Program Description

The VDP Internship Program offers students and emerging leaders the opportunity to gain real-world experience in Democratic Party operations and political work in Vermont. Interns will contribute meaningfully to day-to-day work while learning how state parties support candidates, build grassroots power, and engage voters year-round.

This is an unpaid internship, but college credit may be available depending on institutional requirements.

Interns should expect a 5 – 20 hour per week commitment, to be determined with their supervisor, with flexibility depending on availability and academic needs.
