Representative Mike McCarthy grew up in Vermont and is a graduate of St. Michael’s College. In 2008 he started Cosmic Bakery & Café in downtown St. Albans with his mother and brother. Mike has served as Chair of the St. Albans Downtown Board, represented St. Albans in the Vermont House of Representatives in the 2013-2014 session, and serves on the St. Albans City Council for Ward IV. Mike works as a Solar Project Consultant on community and commercial solar projects. Mike plays guitar and sings whenever he can. Mike lives in the City of St. Albans with his wife and daughter.
